General Guidelines to Applicants

Candidates should make sure that they enter the correct marks in the “previous qualification” field entry given in the online application form as this data will be carried forward for preparing the selection list. Any error in the marks entered will be treated as fraudulence/falsification of marks and the application will be rejected at any given time during the application/selection or admission process.

Undergraduate Programme Applications: To fill the application you must have a copy of statement of marks of Class 10, Class 11, (Mandatory). Class 12 (if available)
Post Graduate Programme Applications: To fill the application you must have a copy of statement of marks of Class 10, Class 12 and Undergraduate Degree Marks Card semester/year (if results awaited, marks card available currently) (Mandatory).
Fill-in all the details in the “detailed application” page. Scan and upload recent passport size photograph (3.5 cms x 4.5 cms formal dress with white background) and click “Submit”. On clicking Submit, a viewable and editable page will appear on screen. In case you need to make any corrections you may edit the data/details and then click “Confirm Submission”.
Make payment using card and after successful payment click on submit, a Nine (9) digit Application number will be generated. If unable to print the application form due to system/power/internet failure, logon to https://appstat.christuniversity.in, under the “Application Status” page enter the registered Email-ID and password to view and print the application form.
Candidates must send the below mentioned supporting documents through Registered Post / Courier and send in an Envelope ONLY to:

Copy of online payment Application Process Fee Receipt.
2 recent passport size and 2 stamp size photographs in formal dress of (Photo size of 35mm x 45mm with white background only - Standard Indian Passport Format only). The application may be rejected if the photograph is not according to the specification.
The filled-in printed application form duly signed by the parent/guardian/spouse and the candidate.
Copy of Statement of marks card of Class 10 & Class 11/12, if applying for Undergraduate programme (Which ever applicable and available at the time of applying).
Copy of Statement of marks cards of Undergraduate Degree, if applying for Postgraduate programme. (If results awaited, marks card available of all previous semesters)

Application form guidelines for Online mode:

All applicants must visit the page: https://espro.christuniversity.in/Application/ and register by entering NAME (as printed on Class 10 Marks Card), EMAIL-ID and set a password. (The email id and mobile number provided will be used for sending confirmation and application status-update messages). An applicant can apply for as many programmes using the same ID as long as the prescribed eligibility criteria for the specific programme is fulfilled.

To fill and submit application using online mode, log on to our website www.christuniversity.in and click on “Admissions”, proceed to click on the Application Status followed by appstat link: https://espro.christuniversity.in/Application/. In the confirmation page click, on ‘Applications’ and click on the preferred programme.

English Language Requirements

At CHRIST (Deemed to be University) all the courses are taught in English medium, it is essential that the students are proficient in the English language.

International students coming from Non-English speaking background must :

Provide evidence of passing the qualifying examination in English.
Have passed English tests like TOEFL(paper) , TOEFL (online) or IELTS with scores of 550 , 213 and 6.0 respectively.

If not , the students must undergo the 3 month Intensive English language Course (IELC) conducted by the University from beginning of March to May end . This course is a full-time course conducted from Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm for a total duration of more than 320 hours. It is designed to help the foreign students to cope with the academic standards in CHRIST ( Deemed to be University) This course includes basic structures of English language like
Functional Grammar (80 hours)
Reading skills (80 hours)
Listening and speaking skills (80 hours)
Writing skills (80 hours)

Fees for the course including study material will be US $ 400/- (non-refundable)
