The School of Business and Management offers MBA in Marketing, Business Analytics, Finance and Human Resource Management. The curriculum is so designed that it provides students with the best of opportunities and a launch pad for successful careers. Every student is treated as a budding manager and he is required to go through a wide spectrum of experiences which include Organization Structure Study, Outbound Training, Book Review Competition, Summer Internship, Weekly Presentation on Current Affairs, and Dissertation. It strives to promote all-round development of students by inculcating a spirit of inquiry, discipline and adventure through various academic and co-curricular activities. We not only train the students to become good professionals but also global citizens.
The two-year MBA programme is divided into six trimesters, with a summer internship training of 6 to 8 weeks after the third trimester. Candidates who have passed the Undergraduate degree examination with 50 % aggregate marks from any recognised University in India or abroad recognised by UGC / AIU are eligible to apply. The robust placement cell at CHRIST Delhi NCR is not only involve in placing students but also involve in grooming and moulding a student to be corporate ready. Training programs are designed to sharpen basic business acumen and improve general knowledge eventually enhancing their employability. A mentor empowers a person to see a possible future, and believe it can be obtained” quoted by Shawn Hitchcock. CHRIST as an institution understand the concerns that a student may face more frequently, when one is away from his/her protective social environment. Mentors are responsible to identify the student’s wants and needs, and to address them in a timely manner. Faculty mentors are assigned with a faculty-student ratio of 1:20. Mentors help the students to focus on and understand more clearly the issues that concern them. Mentoring sessions are conducted to give exposure to our students to various activities like extempore, debate, role playing, book review, industry analysis and even detailed deliberations on ongoing issues. Regular sessions are assigned on weekly basis which includes tackling personal, family and peer problems as well as managing academic related challenges more responsibly. From the Academic year 2022, the students admitted to the MBA program at NCR campus will have an opportunity to study the second year of MBA program at the VCU Business School, USA.
Upon successful completion of the 2nd year, students will receive an MBA degree from the CHRIST (Deemed to be University) and an MS degree from VCU, USA. In VCU, students will have an option to specialize in Finance, Marketing, Decision analytics, Information Systems and Sports Leadership.
