Applications are available online.

Applications for each programme will close approximately a week before the scheduled selection process.

All applicants must visit the page: https://espro.christuniversity.in/Application/ and register by entering NAME (as printed on Class 10 Marks Card), EMAIL-ID and set a password (the email id and mobile number provided will be used for sending confirmation and application status-update messages). An applicant can apply for as many programmes using the same ID as long as the prescribed eligibility criteria for the specific programme is fulfilled.

International Category

Produce evidence of passing the qualifying examination in English medium or have IELTS 6.0 with no sub-score below 5.5 or TOEFL (paper) 550, TOEFL (computer) of 213 or TOEFL (IBT) of 79 scores

Intensive Certificate course in English Language (Full Time) conducted from March to May each year or One Semester Certificate course in English Language (Part Time) conducted after regular class hours from June to December.

Note: The International Student category fee structure is binding for the full duration of the programme and cannot be transferred /changed in between.

Candidates from the above listed categories having pursued Indian Educational qualification and who may have applied under the Indian States Category will have to pay the International Student Category Fee. The decision of the Admission committee is final.

Candidates seeking admission through International Student category (Foreign Nationals/PIO/OCI) will have a separate application process, with the following options to apply for any programme at Christ University.

NRI Category

Students are welcome to apply under the Non Resident Indian category for the programmes offered by the University.

Students who fall under any of the following classifications can apply under NRI Student category and be liable to pay the fees applicable to the category for the entire duration of the programme.

Admission to all programmes is based on academic achievement and CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Selection Process. Candidates should submit the final results of class 12 on or before August 30th of the admission year.

Applicants must read through the Selection process, Fee Structure and other details under the preferred programme given on our website before proceeding with the application process.

Admission Process

Selection process results will be available on https://espro.christuniversity.in/Application/ according to the Important Dates section. Selected candidates will receive an E-Offer of admission that will be valid up to the date mentioned in the Offer of admission.

All selected candidates must note that admission is provisional and subject to University rules.

Selected candidates must download the offer of admission on the ‘Application Status’ link on the University website.

 

To process admission

All original marks cards and one set of photocopies must be submitted for verification at the time of admission as mentioned below,

All mandatory documents must be submitted for verification during the admission process.

An undertaking for pending original documents unavailable currently [applicable only for candidates writing/passing their exam in March – June – 2024], must be submitted to the Office of Admissions. These documents must be submitted on or before 15 July 2024.

The date of commencement of the academic Year 2024 will be intimated during the admission process.

Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria for B Arch Admission as per COA Regulations 2020

Candidate has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies with at least 45% marks in aggregate.

Candidate has passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 45% marks in aggregate.”

A Qualified Aptitude Test score in NATA 2024 conducted by the Council of Architecture

Students pursuing an International curriculum must note that eligibility is according to AIU stipulations: (Passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 45 per cent. aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also at least 45 per cent. marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination)

Programme Educational Objectives

PEO1  To provide an education in the field of the built environment that recognizes its interdisciplinary nature between architecture, ecology, social, economic, and political realms.
PEO2  To offer learning that encourages a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach and bridges the gap between academics and practice.
PEO3  To provide an education that makes students understand the roles and responsibilities to effectively find informed solutions through design, advocacy, and activism.
PEO4  To offer courses that are domain-specific, issue-based that are relevant and contemporary.
PEO5  To provide for choice-based credit systems so that students can specialize in the subject of their choice.

Programme Outcome

PO1  Sensitivity At the end of the programme, the student will be Able to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams within the field of human habitat demonstrating social and environmental responsibility.
PO2  Able to demonstrate engagement in community outreach programs and to apply the assimilated knowledge in built environment related disciplines that are relevant to ethical practice in architecture.
PO3  Knowledge At the end of the programme, the student will be Able to demonstrate and extend the appropriate knowledge for designing the built environment.
PO4  Able to integrate critical thinking skills to recognise and assess existing environment in the service of the discipline of architecture.
