It offers undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and post-doctoral programmes in the disciplines of Chemistry, Physics & Electronics, Mathematics, Life Sciences, and Computer Science & Statistics. Research and publication, even at the undergraduate level, are an integral part of these programmes. A number of research projects funded by agencies like UGC, DST, ISRO, SERB, NCBS, KSTA, etc have been carried out by our dedicated faculty members. The Department of BBA offers multiple programmes from diverse disciplines such as BBA, BBA (Hons.) and BBA (Marketing and Supply Chain Management). Our approach is to inculcate quality education in our students through diverse approaches in learning such as experiential learning, case based teaching, holistic education, live projects, service learning and internships.
The curriculum primarily focuses on Outcome based education which clearly defines Programme and Course Outcomes and assignments for regular formative assessments. It includes activities designed around quality research and provides opportunities for self learning. The department actively promotes a learner centric approach in order to boost the participatory education in its courses. Regular industry interaction is a forte of the department and numerous sessions/workshops/seminars from the Industry Experts are regularly arranged for the exposure of the Business and Management students. The department has associated with multiple industry and academic partners such as Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Chartered Market Technician® (CMT) Association, KPMG, Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), PHD Chamber of Commerce, Career Launcher, etc. to name a few!
In addition to experiential learning, the department also promotes research acumen amongst the senior students with mandatory research projects to be conducted along with industry specific internships. The department also promotes the students to pursue add-on courses from platforms of SWAYAM (Ministry of Education) and Coursera platforms. To support overall development of students National level competitive events are organized for the students in the fields of research, physical education, etc.
